FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT WILL WE TALK ABOUT?

1-on-1 sessions are as individual as the clients themselves, but certain topics around concentration, motivation, performing under pressure are likely to come up.  I'll help you understand how the brain works when we compete, and what you can do to be as mentally strong as possible.

HOW IS A SESSION STRUCTURED?

All sessions take place 100% online, meaning you can complete them anywhere using Skype or FaceTime (depending on preference).  Aside from the first session, which is focused on getting to know each other, each session follows a similar structure:

  • Review of previous session and recent performances

  • New content including possible exercises

  • Advice and "homework" for upcoming week

CAN I BOOK A TRIAL SESSION?

I offer a free, non-binding 30 minute session to all first time customers.  We can use this session to get to know each other, answer open questions, and see if my services are a good fit to your needs.

IS SPORT PSYCHOLOGY THE SAME AS THERAPY?

It is very important to note that I am not a clinical psychologist nor a psychiatrist.  Although educated in mental illness, I am not qualified to diagnose or treat mental illness conditions, such as depression or bipolar disorder.  If such topics come up during our sessions, I will advise you to seek help from a qualified professional in this area.
