FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT WILL WE TALK ABOUT?
1-on-1 sessions are as individual as the clients themselves, but certain topics around concentration, motivation, performing under pressure are likely to come up. Â I'll help you understand how the brain works when we compete, and what you can do to be as mentally strong as possible.
HOW IS A SESSION STRUCTURED?
All sessions take place 100% online, meaning you can complete them anywhere using Skype or FaceTime (depending on preference). Aside from the first session, which is focused on getting to know each other, each session follows a similar structure:
Review of previous session and recent performances
New content including possible exercises
Advice and "homework" for upcoming week
CAN I BOOK A TRIAL SESSION?
I offer a free, non-binding 30 minute session to all first time customers. We can use this session to get to know each other, answer open questions, and see if my services are a good fit to your needs.
IS SPORT PSYCHOLOGY THE SAME AS THERAPY?
It is very important to note that I am not a clinical psychologist nor a psychiatrist. Although educated in mental illness, I am not qualified to diagnose or treat mental illness conditions, such as depression or bipolar disorder. If such topics come up during our sessions, I will advise you to seek help from a qualified professional in this area.
